## Our Service

LawCoachBC is a family law service offered by the Justice Education Society. LawCoachBC was created to support British Columbians who have chosen not to retain a family law lawyer. About half of separations and divorces in BC move through courts without a lawyer.

## Justice Education Society

The Justice Education Society of BC is a BC-based nonprofit organization. JES has 30 years of experience in public legal education and justice system capacity building. JES has provided family resources and services to British Columbians for 20 years.

- JES developed BC’s Parenting After Separation program.
- JES produced HowToSeparate.ca.
- JES’s Ask JES service has responded to thousands of family law questions from the public.
- JES developed FamiliesChange.ca, a national website.
